The name HivePo reflects the model behind the platform. Hive represents a connected network of experienced recruitment professionals working with focus, collaboration, and shared purpose. PO stands for Process Outsourced, reflecting a more flexible and modern approach to outsourced recruitment delivery.
HivePo was developed by the team at Snorkel Talent, founded by Samantha Selwood, together with David Tiko, one of the directors and the designer and creator of the HivePo platform.
Together, the founders bring more than 50 years of combined recruitment and technology recruitment experience. Over that time, they have delivered hiring solutions across a broad range of industries, including technology, pharmaceutical, consumer healthcare, medical technology, construction, large format retail, FMCG, and other complex commercial sectors.
They have also worked across multiple recruitment delivery environments, including agency, RPO, MSP, and consulting. That experience provided a clear view of both the strengths and the limitations of traditional hiring models.
HivePo was created because the industry needed a better operating model.
